My Story

I am Lohitha R Hegde, a doctoral researcher specializing in the fabrication and characterization of polymeric bio-composites for biomedical applications. My research interests revolve around functional biomaterials and their application in catalysis and tissue engineering. Currently, I am engaged in the exciting work of fabricating multi-walled electrospun tube scaffolds for nerve guidance conduits. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the advancement of innovative biomaterials that closely mimic natural tissues, fostering cell proliferation and facilitating tissue regeneration. As I progress in my research journey, my aspiration is to become a distinguished researcher in academia, inspiring and guiding future generations in the field of scientific exploration.
