Roland NKEPSU MBITOU is currently a postdoctoral researcher at a Roberval laboratory (Fahmi Bedoui’s research grou) of the University of Technology of Compiegne. His mission in this position is to understand the chemical surface effect on the macroscopic elastic properties of a polymer composite with nanoparticles. For that, Roland will use Molecular Dynamics approach to perform molecular simulations. Roland obtained his master's degree at the Paris-Saclay University in September 2019, and he specialized on Mechanics. During this Master program, he realized a group project which consists to make a non-motorized and three-wheeled vehicle.

Roland obtained his Ph.D. degree at the University of Clermont-Auvergne in may 2023, and the project was oriented on the modeling and the simulation of polymer systems at the molecular scale. During his thesis, Roland was awarded with the best poster prize at some summer school in 2021.

Finally, Roland likes doing sports (football, cycling, running), making tourism.
